Hello, everyone! Thank you for taking the time and energy to care for your body; I know it isn't always easy - which is why I'm here. My name is Jessica, I was born and raised here in Jax, and currently live near the beach with my daughter and our two kitties, Sokka and Katara. We love spending time outside, especially going to the beach, nature trails, camping trips, and the zoo. Making art of any kind is a favorite hobby, along with live music, dancing, and reading.
In 2019, I discovered my deep passion for massage therapy - it was immensely and immediately clear how important it was for me to offer this to our world. But then COVID happened… In 2022, I finally received my license and started working at The Orange Blossom Studio, another incredible local business with some of the best massage therapists in town. I learned a lot while working there - both from my coworkers who generously shared their knowledge, and from experience working on different body types and their unique needs and preferences. What a blessing it was for that to be my introduction to this career, and I will be forever grateful; but in 2023, I decided it was time for me to make a solo venture. It didn’t take long for me to settle into my spot in Avondale, and the rest is history.
After seeing multiple massage therapists, you'll find that each one has a particular style. If you asked me to describe mine, I would say that I focus on relaxation, ensuring that your mind, body, and soul feel safe in my presence, while making sure to be thorough and attentive. It may sound a little silly, but I've always felt that the muscles speak to me, in a way, so I listen to them and let them tell me everything I need to know - what pressure is needed, what angle to reach from, etc. etc. I take a gentle approach when it comes to healing and I strongly believe that we are all healers, but we cannot heal each other. I can trigger certain thoughts, feelings, or ideas within you that will encourage you to heal yourself, and you can do the same for me, but I cannot fix you. The work I do is very much a team effort. First and foremost, we need to trust each other. This allows your body to reach the level of relaxation needed for true healing of the muscles. I also need you to feel the inclination to do better for yourself. I can give you a million amazing massages, but after a certain point, they will not benefit you in any way if you are not putting in the same effort on your end. Every body is different and each one requires a unique path towards a pain-free existence. I've dedicated myself to learning and understanding the human body, and it is truly such an honor and a pleasure to help you along your journey in any way I can.
